can this be done?
Hi all, I am currently doing a four wheel drive conversion on my R3500. I am using a 1979 chevy 1 ton single rear for my donor truck. My question is, can I run spacers on the front to retain the use of my dually wheels without sacrificing my weight rating? I was just going to run the standard steelies and make an adapter to put my wheel simulators on them but I would really like to run the wheels, Thanks for any help given!

I suppose you could, but generally speaking most of the people shopping for Dana 60s want the single wheel hubs. If I were you I'd post ads, or look in classifieds on off-road sites for people with dually hubs wanting to trade for singles.
