newbee shackles question

well i have several nissan patrols

60s models my latest project is a little off

and i was wondering if anyone has ever seen the shackles moved from the front of the front spring to the rear of of the front spring
and what kind of drama could this cause
as this truck has a s.o.a and the shackles are not in there
propper place just on the front springs it seems to drive fine was just wondering if any one has a good reason for this type of mod or if i should fix it

Re: newbee shackles question

jeeps had the shackles in the front where as chevy put them in the rear on the front axle. so, for what ever that is worth.
