Does anybody know what years, model and engines were offerd with headers as an option from the factory?

Dunno the years, but our '86 C20 has factory headers on the 454. It's weird, they've got the smog ports on them from the emissions BS. They're plugged of course [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img].

This is a hot topic concerning first gen camaros as well. My 69 Camaro could have had headers from the factory delivered in the trunk, then were dealer installed (these were for small blocks)

Just and FYI:

Kustom headers in Michigan and Bill Thomas Race Cars in California made the factory headers. Most likely Kustoms went in cars from Norwood (assy plant) and the Thomas headers went to Van Nuys (assy plant)

Weird stuff...

Its hard to determine if they were then considered a factory option or a dealer installed accessory. Either way I dont know if GM did this for many cars/trucks but it shure is neat.
