Need help with 4\" rear springs

Hey guys,
I have just recieved my 4" RC rear springs for my 89 Jimmy,
finally the blocks and std saggy springs can come out, I should have listened to everyone at the start and got the springs!

I'm just having trouble getting them to fit.
they are 52" and so are the original ones.
each end is different, one has a single eye and the other is the same but there is another leaf wraped around it like a hook.
which one is the front? I presume the single eye is at the front cos if the double part is there it hits the mounting on the chassis.
However if this is the case, the wedge on the bottom of the spring seems to be around the wrong way??
which way should the wedge face?

does anyone have a pic showing these springs installed?

when i'm finished this time i'll post the before and after pics.
