Re: your opinion here

My honest thoughts are:

If it's a K5, it should be routed out the side. If you drive down a dirt road with the rear window down, you'll see how much dust comes sucking into the cab... rear exhaust is no different. The idea of routing it out the side is so that it gets disipated by turbulance before it has a chance to get in. Now, going real slow, when the wind is right.. will often still cause some to get in w/ side exits .. but not like rear. Side exits is not bad.. it can be done with high clearance.. and still look good too. It just takes a little planning... but at least it's much safer for everyone onboard.

Just my .02 cents

Re: your opinion here

See mine on my pickup are cut and turned down underneth now if you take them back around the axle you would not have any problems because it would be im possible to rip them off just tuck every thing inside the frame. BUT however if you do that it will make it alot louder inside unless your is carpeted then is should not make much difference.
