It was a glorious sight watching the two fusible links go up in a puff of smoke. I would like to replace these, probably with the reseting circut breakers. After I track down the short (and lengthen it). I need to have a clue as to what amp rating I should be getting, maybe 40 or 50, or even 80 or 90 amp. I'd like something close to OEM.
This is just a beater blazer, no a/c, but sometimes a bunch of KC dayliters.
I'm just going to install 40amp buse recycling circut breakers and see how it handles it. They are only a few bucks each and should pretty much handle the amount of power that goes through those circuts.
