Alot of tire, no lift

I have a ver good friend in north carolina who made a bet with me, he bet me that he could fit 36's with no lift and very little cutting, i never thought it could happen. well after losing 5 bucks i must say im quite suprised. I have ridden with him in it, we have flexed the suspension to the max and no rubbing. i dont know how its possible. The was very very little cutting done, the pics will prove that. just wanted to let you guys know. wow is all i got to say.

Re: Alot of tire, no lift

I could get 33s to rub with no lift and I can get 33s to rub with 4" of lift.

Since GM's wheelwells are square all you have to do is cut the corners out and you can fit pretty big tahrs. The difference in trimming to fit 35s and 40s with 4" of lift isn't much.

With 36s and no lift the top of his tire should hit the top of the wheelhouse unless he flexes like a dumptruck.
