76-87 3/4 Ton Spindle Nut

Hi. I've got a 14bolt on my Bronco and am going to be swapping in some 3/4 ton Chevy front disks back there. I was wondering if someone could tell me what kind of spanner wrench/Hex wrench I'll need to get the hub off. I just want to be prepared when I get to the wrecking yard. It's a ways to go just to discover you don't have the right tool. Thanx for any help. NORM

Re: 76-87 3/4 Ton Spindle Nut

Doesn't anyone just use a hammer & screwdriver anymore? Just stick the end of the common SD in there on one of the lugs, and give it some light smacks with a hammer when your ready to turn it. Once it's loose just leave the end of the SD in there and use it turn it off the rest of the way.. like stirring some lemonaide... LOL you don't even have to scrape a knuckle.

I'm going to assume you're talking about the hubs on the 3/4 front axle you'll scrounging some parts from. For a second I thought you were asking how to seperate the hub from the drum on the 14.
