Electrical problems

I was just trying to start my 88 K5 blazer and when I turned the key from on to start all power would shut off, and if I turn the key off and on again power comes back but then the same thing happens. Does anyone know why this is?

Re: Electrical problems

I'm thinking either a loose ground or faulty ignition switch.

Re: Electrical problems

Found out what it was. I had a ground wire that had broken off and was barly touching. Thanks!

Re: Electrical problems

I figured that would be it. I've done a lot of needless trouble-shooting on my truck only to find it was the ground, which I should've checked first
