Dick Cepec Lifts

Anyone heard anything good or bad about Dick Cepek lift kits for the chev's. I came across a new 5" one for just over 250 on e-bay with what seemed to come with everything needed but the steering arm. What kind of gets me leary is that it looked like the lift in the rear was all block. Seems like most of the time you get 6" from other companies you get a block and add a leaves if you don't go with the entire spring pack. I thought for that price, what the hell, get it and slap it into my 86 jimmy and see how it works. Just curious as to any opinion out there.

Re: Dick Cepec Lifts

I would think it's probably OK...

I really boils down to what you want to do with the vehicle it will be installed on. If you plan to make it a serious wheeler, then i would go a different route... if it's for light wheeling, and mostly just road, then it will probably be fine.
