Re: Transfer Case 208

If you are going to run the 700, do like suggested and get it built up. I have a 383 in my project 56 and had numerous people tell me to stick with a 400 with that motor. But then I didn't have a tranny to start with so my options were a little more open. I also just purchased an 86 Jimmy that owner prior had a built 400 motor. He was had already trashed the first 700 and was told by the shop if the next one went they recommended going with a 400.

Re: Transfer Case 208

a buddy of mine has a rockcrawling cj and he told me about the spring ratings.the most trial that my truck is going to see is the mud.rockcrawling is cool and fun but not for me.although i haven't ruled out the rev.shackle flip yet,due to saving some money.but i need to work on my transfer and get it right first before i go any further.
