GEAR RATIOS

I JUST PUT A DIFFERENT FRONT END IN MY 77 BLAZER IT HAS 3,08 GEARS IN AND UNFROTUNATELY THE MATCHING REAREND I DISCOVERED HAS 3 TEETH HALF BROKE, SO MY QUESTION IS CAN I SAFELY STILL USE 4 WD WITH MY REAREND BEING 3,73 GEARS

Re: GEAR RATIOS

Well yeah, you could if you had 35s in the rear and 29s in the front. Or you could forget 4WD and remove your front driveshaft. As far as using 4WD, that'll be a no.

Re: GEAR RATIOS

You can sometimes get away with it in mud or sand, but that is about it.
