tires to lift

what size tire can i get [img]images/graemlins/RockOn.gif[/img] under a k5 blazer 1987 with a 3 in body lift and a 4 in suspension lift

If you go with tires that are in the average width range of 12.50-14.50, on a 10" rim, then I would think you would be able to go anywhere from 36-38' or so. With the 38's you may have to trim slightly, but I'm not 100% sure. I would think they would clear, but I'm not sure about when the suspension is flexed up. I would think that if you needed to trim at all, it would be minor.

I ran 40s on 4" suspension lift and some major fender trimming and a little rubbing at full stuff. I currently have a 3" body and probably about 4"-5" suspension lift (all custom so not really a certain lift) and clear 40s with absolutely no problems and plan on 42s next. Fender trimming and wheel backspacing is key though
