TH350 trouble...need help ASAP

Today I pulled the pan on my TH350 transmission. Everything looked fine, but suddenly a little S-shaped dingy fell out. I don't know where it came from. Can someone help me here? Unfortunately I don't have a repair manual.

I'm coming in kind of late on this one, you might have fixed it already... sounds like a clip off of the shifter linkage though, check it out if you're still stumped.

Good Luck!
