Oil Pan Replacement

Hi,
I've got a project K5 that I've been working on, total rotbox. I was working on putting the new brake line kit I bought when I noticed that my oil pan on the 305 is rotted and flaking so bad that oil is starting to come through a rust hole. I was thinking of just buying a brand new one, and I've seen a lot on the web for 86 and newer pickups, I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference is? As far as I know the block didn't change, so I figured one off a newer motor would work fine. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it a lot.

Re: Oil Pan Replacement

Buy one for the year it is.

86 and up ones are different at the back of the pan.
