Re: whar to find air tanks

Where do you plan on mounting the tanks? I have 2 under my diamond plate tool box. They do not move and give me plenty of air. I got them from a semi junk yard. You can also use converted LPG tanks. The one thing is that they are big and bulky sometimes.
Let me know and maybe I can dig up a picture.

Re: whar to find air tanks

SCUBA tanks.... generic air tanks (just put a brass tee on the port)... just use your imagination.

Mine is a SCUBA tank. It has 5 ports on it or something. 1 1/2" NPT, 1 3/8" NPT, 2 1/4" NPT, and one 1/4" NPT for a drain petcock.

The air tanks you buy at walmart for $15 work also.

Usually I just tell people to go to the junkyard or city dump and look for dual tank air compressors that have been junked.
