stupid rim question

I want to find out if there is a 15in rim in the 8 bolt hole pattern because 15s are alot cheaper than 16.5

Yes there are 15" wheels with 8 lugs. But you'll prolly need to grind some of the caliper off to make em clear.

Re: stupid rim question

yes, I just had 15" rims in an 8-bolt pattern, but the rotors had to be shaved. not worth it to me anyways, cuz theyre harder to find if you are picky about looks or material.

Also, 16.5" is a weird size too, why not 16s? theyre common and cheap.

Re: stupid rim question

!5 inch rims and a Chevy are not a good combination. Stick with the 16s

Re: stupid rim question

I run 15x10 steel wheels with 3.25" BS on my dana 60 and disk braked 14FF. 15" is the only way to go in my opinion, tires are more avaliable, cheaper, and more sidewall for airing down. I had to grind my calipers front and rear but no biggy. The less backspacing the less grinding will be required. I would suggest BS of 3-3.5" You have to run a steel wheel because of material thickness. Generally a 15x10 8 lug wheel runs $50 each in a black wheel and like $60 for chrome. Go for the 15s!
