\'95 K1500 Air Conditioner Pressure

Does anyone know what the high side A/C pressure should be on a '95 K1500 with 5.7? Generic book I have said 28 psi on low, 320 psi on high, but I think that's way too high. I just redid the system and can't get over 185 on the high. I'm no a/c expert but it won't take anymore freon so I was just wondering what's up.

The retro fit kit I did on my truck has a guage that says not to go over 120.

Your high side pressure should be roughly 2- 2.2 times ambient temperature (R-134A). At 100F ambient your high side should be 200-220 psi
