Bedlined Suburban update

So after running around in my suburban for about 5 months with bedlined floors, I am done with it. It's too #$#@ hot, and I can't stand it anymore.
Other than the heat, its okay. Just thought I'd share with anyone that may be thinking about doing this in the future.

Re: Bedlined Suburban update

Ah, yes, it'll definitely roast you out. That's why I have two layers of floor mats in my truck. The hump will still get so hot it's uncomfortable to touch. It's just out in the woods that it's hot in the truck.

I think the truggy will get a Durabak floor and then I'll cut pieces of bedmat to go over the hump and cover the floor. I'll heat it up with a torch so I can mold it. That should help get rid of some of the heat. Then I'm going to look for those cab vents that some trucks got in the back of the cab to cause air to flow.

I don't know, I like being able to use a tire brush and a garden hose to clean the floor.
