Should be no problem really, I put a corp14 in the rear and a 44 in the front in an afternoon. Found them both at the junkyard. Traded the old 10 bolts for the 14 and bought the 44. That dually rear end wont work, well....you could make it work but that is a headache. I assume you have a 208 transfer case. You will need to get the yoke on your drivline changed out to accomodate the 14 yoke. I put a 205 tc in mine so had to change my drive line lengths. Yours should be pretty close, might need to shorten the back drive line a little since the 14 is bigger. As far as gears it depends on what you want to do with your rig. Highway/city cruisin, or off road all the time. I'm running 4:88s with a locker in the front. With my M465 manual tranny and the low geared 205, my highway driving is a minimum (4800 rpm at 65mph) 4:10s are a pretty good middle of the road gear though, depending also on what size tires you put on.
