instument cluster?
 

is there several types of instument clusters for a 76 1/2 ton? gotta cover that wont seem to fit from another 76... [img]images/graemlins/cussing.gif[/img]

I thought they were all the pretty much the same. Maybe one of them is warped from the sun or something.

Let see they all have an orientation with the two large gauges stradling the steering colum, with 4 smaller ones to the left of them. There are a few configurations I can think of:

Idiot lights with Speedo & Fuel Gauges
Volt, Oil, Water, Speedo and Fuel w/ Blank Spot (lower left)
Volt, Oil, Water, Speedo and Fuel w/ Clock (lower left)
Volt, Oil, Water, Speedo and Fuel w/ Brake Light (lower left)
Volt, Oil, Water, Speedo and Tach w Fuel Gauge (lower left)

I know the idiot light and clock equipped lens' are different than the others. I think what you mean by "cover" is the clear plastic lens, right? The bezel, which is the big black (with silver paint, or wood grain foo-foo, or aluminum trim) plastic peice that you see is on the outside. It comes in a couple varietys too, depends on whether or not you've got A/C, or a diesel (has more spots for warning lights).
