Front driveshaft removal
The vehicle in question is a '78 Blazer all-time 4wd. I am trying to take off my front driveshaft and I'm having problems. It appears to be connected to the transfer case with a flange by four bolts, but I've got the bolts off and it's not coming. I replaced the sparkplugs, wires, cap and rotor as soon as I bought the truck (3/7/04) and I wouldn't doubt that they were the ones Chevy put in in '77, so I don't know is there is something else holding this driveshaft together or if it is just stuck. I don't want to start whacking it with a hammer/cold chisel and break the case because I didn't disconnect something. I'm sure people have broken/replaced these, what am I missing?
