cant get transmishon in

ok i had to replace my clutch and a few weeks ago i got another 465 and a np205, i an replacing a worn out 465 and np208

the problem is i cant seem to get the in put shaft in to the pilot bushing me and my dad worked on it from 9am to 4pm and got no whare

i put the clutch in just like normal and the alinmet tool slides in and out, it seems tight but it slides in and out, we are using a trans. floor jack i have till monday and iv tilted the engen back as far as posebel

iv had the transmishon in gear should i put it in nutral? i can get the bellhousing up to 1/2 to 3/4 in. from the engen block so it must just be geting it in the pilot bushing and i did slid the bushing over the tip of the input shaft

should i use a dremel and put a taper on the end of the bushing, or get some longer bolts and start them when i get the bellhousing cloce thred them and try to pull it together, i just dont want to put to mutch presher on that aluminum bellhousing

or mabey thares a trick i dont know or somthing im over looking

i need all the help i can get i onley have tomarow to get it back together

thanks gies
