error 32

Hi all. My truck is giving me an error 32 with the check engine light when I drive on the highway at speeds above 60 mph for several minutes. How can i check to see if the EGR vacuum solenoid is working, or providing vacuum to the EGR valve? thanks

Re: error 32

You need to put a vacuum gauge in place of the egr valve. There should be 10 inches of vacuum.
If there is vacuum, leave the gauge connected, turn the ignition on and connect a test light across the solenoid harness connector. The light should come on.

I got this straight out of my Haynes manual.
