hello again

Long time again. Thought I'd drop in and say hi. Got some more on my truck done since last time. I have my 450hp 454 in now. Got my blazer tank plumbed in. Got my rear bumper finished and help finished on my front. Built my spare tire carrier today. Put 57" f-150 springs in teh rear with a scissor shakle thingy we came up with (have to lift the truck over a foot on the lift before the rear tires lift), triangulated the rear shocks, cut more off the bed, stripped out all the excess wiring ( must have been 30 miles worth). Have some pics but not here now. Will post them later.

Re: hello again

Yeah It is definatly a nice truck last I remember He was running 40s, with a 400 SBC, TH400, 241, Dana 60? and 14FF. Its a shortbox truck too.

Shoot Matt I thought you feel off the face of the earth or somethin, way to go on the 454, how are you liking that?

Re: hello again

the 57" ford springs are longer and WAY softer if i remember correct. You get a TON of flex out of them.

Re: hello again

Here are some pics. My 57" f-150 springs are too soft for 450 HP I guess and axle wrap really bad after testing them this weekend. I'm gonna leave the flip and take some leaves out of a set of 1-ton 56" 1-ton springs and try them.
