how big of tires have you guys fit without lifting

hi, im new to this forum and i was just curios how big of tires you guys have fit with without lift. just fender hacking and rim choice. pics would be great. thanks. oh yea.....im tryin to figure out a plan for summer and if you couldnt tell im cheap lol

i should probly add that i was thinking about using the money i saved on the lift for upgrades to the axles(locker, gears) i heard that you can fit 35s with no lift if you hack enuff.

become friends with a sawzall and you can fit 35s. I have seen pics of a blazer running 44s on 1" lift. I ran 40s on 4" for a long time too.

I have a 79K5 now with 4" of lift. I'm pretty sure I could fit 38s on there before it hit the cab. The only way I could have less fender is if I didn't have any.

If you're cheap, you can usually find used 4" lifts for $150 including steering arm. At least I did for my truck and that's what I'll probably sell my other one for.

I think the biggest you can fit with no lift and a lot of hacking is 36s on 15x8s... and then it'll still come close to the cab.
