dose it sound like i need a thick gear set or are thare ring gear spacers?, the open careyer is alot thiner than the gov-locker, i was even thinking about puting some washers as spacers betwen the ring gear and careyer but it just seemed to low buget

Re: ez locker & gears

you'll need a thicker ring gear. they ocme in two thicknesses that i know of. the open carrier is a bit thinner and it accepts thicker gear. opposite for the gov-lock carrier. as for teh washer-spacer thing. dont do it, you'll really [bleep] up the rear end that way

Re: ez locker & gears

for the numbers on the sife, just devide the big number by the small mnumber and you'll jabve your ratioe. it'll likely be either 4.10 or 4.56.
