Exhaust system setup?

What does anybody recomend for mufflers? I currently have a pair of glass-packs that are wicked loud and want to go with something that has more noise dampening.
Does anyone have a brand they recomend and if so what model or style.

Thanks
Kit

Depending on what you have after the cat Flowmasters are pretty good. They will be quiter than what you have now. I have Magnaflows and I like then more than Flowmasters. They aren't as loud but still sound nice.

Re: Exhaust system setup?

Get the 50 series flows if you want to hear it, 70 series if you want it to be quiet (think stock quiet, when cruising). The 70 series still has a nice tone at idle and can be heard when you really get on it.

if its an 84 isnt it exempt as a "classic" vehicle? i dont know the emission lasws out there very well, but i thought that 20 years marked the end of testing for a vehicle.
