BODY LIFT on 82 1/2 Ton

I got the bed taken care of but what about the cab. How hard to do, and how long. What is involved as far as tools.

Did you get a kit without instructions?

I've never done it, but would assume you'd need a wrench or two, and a jack to lift the body. I think you'll have to do something for the steering shaft and shifter as well.
Good luck.

Re: BODY LIFT on 82 1/2 Ton

hey

if u haven't done it all ready, i just finsihed my body lift on my 82, i put a 4inch body lift on mine and all i had to do was make a braket to extend the clutch linkage. but mine is a standard. if urs is auto i don't think u should run into any problems. and i never had to do anything to the steering or anything else.
i hope i helped ya some!
