Inverted T Steering on 73-87 GM

Anyone ever done this? What parts did you use??

Any reason why you can't do this?

I saw a 4x4 van conversion while I was on the bus today and it looked like it had the ford-style inverted T steering..

Any thoughts on the matter?

Thanks.
