Performance ?

I have a 04 Chevy Silverado 6.6l diesel and would like to gain more power and performance in the vehicle since I pull a 5th wheel trailer (32 feet toybox). I currently have replaced the air filter with an K&N filter (replacement only) and was thinking about the chip upgrade and the exhaust upgrade (4 inch pipes). Any recommendations? Should I upgrade the air filter system also? Would I see a gain MPG with the uogrades? I travel about 160 miles one way to the dunes from San Diego.

Thank you for your time, Banzai Bandit

Re: Performance ?

They just did this on that Trucks show over the weekend, but I wasn't really paying attention. Did anybody else watch?
He had some kind of a plug in device, with 5 power settings. It pushed the HP and torque up quite a bit.

Re: Performance ?

With a diesel, i'd reccomend some type of programer or chip. Look into the bullydog or banks stuff..
