toyota boy has GM questions

i am very interested in 350 and 6.2 specs..

specifically.. the bore stroke and compression ratios?

i am very inclined to drop a 350 in my 92 toyota pu.
i have 33's and a solid front axle swap.

i am in desprete need of more POWER!
and possibly more fuel economy

i am also curious about wheather the 350 will bolt on to the same trannys the 6.2 will?

Managed to find these specs on my own.
an ordinary 350 runs 4.00 bore and 3.48 stroke..

now.. what about the 6.2 diesel?

Re: toyota boy has GM questions

3.98x3.82 for the 6.2L diesel.

Keep in mind that this abhored motor had the horsepower characteristics of a 305 and the torque characteristics of a 350. The "heavy duty" 6.2L made 150hp instead of the regular 130hp.

Yes, they share the same bellhousings.

Same bellhousings, but if you're going with an auto, the torque converter is different for gas/diesel

I've always thought that a 4.3 liter V6 would go really good in a Toyota or other small truck.
They can be built with gobs of power, and get good mileage too.

I second that motion. 100lbs lighter and can be made to make 200hp down low where you want it.

i have a v6...
whats the point in swapping 6's for 6's.. if the v8 is probably cheaper in the short and long run!?

i have a 5000lb truck with 33s' and i plan on snagg'n sum 35's

I want to be able to drag with stupid mustang boyz.. and make em look bad, if not beat them!
