Re: Looking for a Quadrejet

I love Q-Jets. I have found bunches on Ebay. Some are ok and I am sure some are junk. Junk yards sometimes have a supply of those. I have only one for my Jimmy. I also have 2 Holleys for it. The Q-Jet is easier to tune.

Good Luck,

Jim

Re: Looking for a Quadrejet

What model quadrajet do you recommend? Or what year?
Im not sure as to get a newer style Pre 82 with electric choke or an early model 4MV from the 70s that have the remote choke, and just use a manual choke.

Re: Looking for a Quadrejet

An early 4MV should be fine. Take a look and make sure the linkage works. Get the HP Books on Rochester Quadrajet carbs. It is a great help. Also learn the application number code. I don't have a good handle on it, but it can tell you the year of manufacture of the carb.
