14bolt FF disc brake failure?

Anyone ever hear or experience a failure on a 14bFF disc brake conversion kit? I know some kits use a a spacer ring or individual spacers for mounting the caliper bracket. There is a bracket at this site that uses no spacers.

I'm thinking of doing a 14bFF disc setup so just looking to see what the experiences are out there.
TIA

Get tired of pimping your stuff on ck5 eh?

Those are some nice brackets. I'm assuming you used a surface grinder on them?

Re: 14bolt FF disc brake failure?

I made alot of things for my truck and this was a set-up only for me, too many guys make them...
the parts that I do make were ones that guys hit me up on to make, they saw what I had made up and buged me to make them some...I make all my stuff after work so time is a factor, but it's has paid for all the work on my K/5.
That way the wife can't get on me for spending $$...

Exactly. Thats what I'm doing, it's nice making a few small parts that individually don't yield alot of profit but if it's something everyone needs the profit comes in volumes of sales
