They make antennas specifically for that purpose. Check out Radio Shack.
I was going to buy one a few years back. It looked like a stock radio antenna, but had a multi-plexer to allow it to transmit and receive CB as well.

Yes, you can get such antennas, but IMO they are not worth the cost... It won't work as well for CB as a real CB antenna will, and might not work well for stereo either... I'm not exactly sure you'd want to use both at the same time, either... Might cause some power to feed from the cb to the stereo, although don't quote me on that... Go with a real cb antenna instead for better results...

Now that is a good question... That's about the first time I've heard of somebody trying that... I'm sure it's been done, but I'm not presonally sure how well it'll work...

several years ago this very same question was posted on here. Seems like someone had tried running dual steel whips and said it worked great.

Re: is it possible to use a CB antenna with a ster

I had an Fm booster deal on my stock antenna, and it didn't do jack. But the $25 powered hideaway antenna i put in our boat is AWESOME. As soon as i've got 25 spare sitting around, im going to put one in my truck and disconnect the stock antenna.

Re: is it possible to use a CB antenna with a ster

Well My days on this forum may be numbered since Sandy is gunning fer my hyde so I'm typing fast .... lol Go to yer local truck stop and check out Tv antennas. They have some that look just like cb whips and as few know, tv IS fm and as such uses the same type of antenna as fm radio! if you look around you should be able to find matching tv and cb antennas. Then all you have to do is put the correct plug on the coax from the tv antenna to plug into your stereo ..... hope this helps
