OT: look at the gem I brought home

Believe it or not, it has a known good motor (believed to be a 1 piece RMS 350) and 700R4 in it. The rear axle has 3.42s in it. The front axle has been gutted of all good parts and the transfer case is gone too.

I figure free was the perfect price for a motor, transmission, rear axle, and a set of good Rally wheels with STTs on them.

Yeah, I towed it home that way.

Re: OT: look at the gem I brought home

It was a running, moving rig before it was put in the hobo parade (destroy vehicles, paint them, and drag them behind trucks for homecoming). I waited like a week before I said I'd take it so most of the good stuff was gone like the front axle parts, doors, accessories off the motor, the entire interior, transfer case, steering box, column, et cetera.

If it had everything there I would've cut 'er up and turned 'er into a truggy.

I got it for free, I just had to tow it away. It's a mighty colorful lawn ornament. It almost matches the neighbor's Dodge.

Replace missing body panels with some old half rotted plywood over a 2x4 frame, get it road ready, and you'll be all set to cruise for chicks.

Re: OT: look at the gem I brought home

Yeah, it's a parade where MTU kids dress up like hobos and have a parade down College Avenue for homecoming. It includes people smashing cars with sledgehammers and dragging them down the street. The Fourwheelers (the club I'm in) usually daisychains 3 or 4 trailers behind a rig and the delta zetas ride on it.

I don't know what I'm going to do with it.
