got new motor mounts

i installed new motor mounts friday night. here is a pic of the old ones. with the old ones the oil pan rested on the front crossmember. now it has about an inch of clearance. Glad i had the usee of the crane at work. it made things a lot simpler than it would have been at home.

for those that don't know, the rubber center is supposed to be centered in the metal bracket.

Re: got new motor mounts

i've got a new pair of mounts for the diesel that need to be installed. I'm sure the ones i'm running now look alot like the the mount in your pic. I replaced the mounts in my wagoneer this past summer and both side were actually seperated and the only thing holding the motor down was its own weight and the tranny mounts
