Hey folks I am new to this forum. Not to the ORC.com though, my past rig was a Zuk on 33's.512's lockers 4-1 case etc.
I am the proud new owner of a 72 blazer......basically stock.
Whats the best spring setup? Plan on running 35's.
I wanna a good flexy suspnsion, lets hear some ideas.

Re: Suspension ideas.72 blazer

I would say look into what BDS has to offer because they have a good reputation and are said to be good riding and flexy. As for size I would go with a 4" lift and if needed do some fender triming, I would think you would be acustomed to that considering you had 33"s on your Sami. Then Happy Wheeling

Re: Suspension ideas.72 blazer

I will just tell you what my cousin has done to an 84 K5 Blazer...

He has 4" lift springs up front (I don't know the brand) 1" lift shackles, Ford shock mounts up front with very long shocks...

For the rear he has a 4" to 6" shackle reversal lift (can't remember which) 2 wd Ford truck springs in the rear (don't know model) with a 6" or so long shackle with an anti wrap bar for the rear.

He is running brand new 38.5 swamper TSL's with some fender trimming. His RTI score is over 1000 I believe. I am not sure of the ramp degree though.

Re: Suspension ideas.72 blazer

Thanks for the input. I will check out BDS. I am definetly planning on cutting feder wells. talked to a local shop today that can bend metal for inner fender wells. After a few brewskies tonight I am thinking of adding ractor puller style headers to the rig............... Anyways , keep the ideas and recommendations coming
