Re: I\'M BACK!!!!

Pshhh, if you can do it I'll throw it on! Take lots of pics!

So where didja get the allison? Or is it a plan at this stage? Seems you'd need a lot of computer work. Od does your truck have a compatible system?

And what about the Wills, a cat kennel for ore0 and a jungle gym for 'lil Willy?

Re: I\'M BACK!!!!

It's sitting on the garage floor Should be going in in mid october or so... The truck is going to be down for a good month while I do all the stuff I've been accumulating parts for...

The tranny has it's own standalone computer from the factory and all it needs is TPS signal and a VSS signal to the trucks ECM. No problema.

And the willys is progressing... It's just so damn expensive that it doesn't do it very quickly. The engine is getting align bored right now and next week I'll be putting that together. Then once I get the 4l80e out of my truck it will bolt on to the willys engine and I will mock it in the frame then drop the body on the frame. I have to get the drivetrain in before I can build the suspension so I know where the driveshafts and such will go.

Wills - Cool deal, did you jack a new HD or is it part of an insurance thing? You still hacking houses in year round sunny ricy Cali ?

Drey - We can start with "Removing Crap LP Frames" and go on to "Low slung is cool, but how about a little lift, especially if you have nice fenders" then finally,
"8 Lugs? What about my Awesome All Terrains !?"

Nah yer a cool dude!

Re: I\'M BACK!!!!

Did it have the dubs and the 49s and the ohso tight chrome lift blocks? Frame fall off the axles and the single driveshaft couldn't keep it from toppling?

Cool deal man! Hope it works! Like I said, pics!

Re: I\'M BACK!!!!

post jackers!!!!
sounds like a cool set up. I am going the other way puting the dubler in this one. and hydro steering.
Drey,
that thing still looks to shiny. "joke"
mines getting a little rougher and a little more redneck all the time. had to cut a whole in the hood so the air cleaner would fit.

Res. if you want tech I can get you info for a home made dubler, hydro steering or can send pics and wheeling storys .
