Rock hard brakes

I am having a problem with the brakes on my '80 chevy truck having hard brakes. I have to use alot of force with both feet to stop the thing. I changed out the booster and master cylinder with another one I had. Same problem. Any help would be nice.

Re: Rock hard brakes

Maybe you have a frozen wheel cylinder. Take your wheels off, have somebody hit the brakes and see what happens.

Make sure you have good vacuum to the booster, make sure the booster is good, and if it's hydro boost make sure your ps pump is working properly.
