4 and 6 inch lift questions.

How high a lift can I put on my 79 Blazer without doing any mods like new driveshafts?

What's involved in putting a 6 inch lift on this model year?

Any recommendations on lifts and 33-35 inch tires?

Anyone try the 35 inch Larado tire?

Thanks for the help.

Re: 4 and 6 inch lift questions.

Did you do a search? Thats probably why its taken so long to get an answer.
Anyways, you can probably go 4" without modifying the driveshaft. You may have to do something with the exhaust, depending on whether it crosses under the front driveshaft.
Otherwise, its a simple job. Take out the old springs and put in new. I don't care for using a lift block in the rear. But that's the cheaper way to go. Longer shocks, etc...
You may want to get extended brake lines too.
And you will want to get a new steering arm to fix the steering angles.
