Need info on 1969 chevy running gear

I have a complete 1969 3/4 ton 4x4 chevy suburban rolling chassis with a sm 465 4 spd and rockwell model 221 transfer case the front end is a cloced knuckle model 44 with drum brakes the rear end has a drop out 3ed member and a removable rear cover, any info on the transfer case or the rear end would be helpful. Also i would like to know how strong this setup would be for a rockcrawling rig, any coments would be greatly appreciated

Re: Need info on 1969 chevy running gear

the motor, trans, and rear are all solid, not too sure on the t-case, and the front axle *might* be ok, depending on tire size and your left foot.
