\'70 k20 front axle brake conv.

I am going to look at a '70 k20 today which according to the seller has "...ton axles, 4.56 gears, lockers..." I have read lots of old posts regarding this and have found out that it has d60 front, drum brakes. I don't REALLY mind drums, but do I have any provision for a disk swap in the future? Are there any other liabilities with this truck, like the eaton rear ( are they really rare and hard to get parts for?) I understand that the rear may be a d60, I haven't seen the truck yet. Thanks in advance for your help.

Probably an Eaton rear and a closed-knuckle Dana 60 front. I'd rather have 10 bolts.

The Eaton is rare and the closed-knuckle Dana 60 is worth nothing--at most $50.

GM never used a drum brake (or closed knuckle) 60 front. Since they never used a 60 front until 1977, if it has a GM 60, it will be discs. If it is the original axle, it will be an open knuckle drum brake 8 lug 44.
