Replacing straight 6 with big block (65 Suburban)

I have a 1965 Chevy suburban and am replacing my 292 in-line 6 with a 396. I and have a couple of questions that I hope someone can help me with. First are the motor mount perches, does anyone know what year/s truck perches will work? And my next question is regarding the strength of the 65 frame. Will I need to brace the frame or will it be strong enough for around 400 HP big bolck? Any info would be apreciated.

Re: Replacing straight 6 with big block (65 Suburban)

GM's inline 6's and small blocks use the same frame side mount. The block side of the mount is different. I'm not sure if the BBC is different than the SBC, sure soemone else can answer that for you.
