alot of work but she needed it,

hey yall i just returned to guam after i was home on leave for 4 weeks, when i got there i found out that a friend of mine had lost my 39 inch mikeys and my rims that were with them so i was sol on that, the truck needed little things like brakes and a battery, so i did all that, just tinkered a little bit here and there for a week or so, i pulled the bed to weld the frame were i had broke it when i was out playing before i left and found that the whole frame from cab back was junk spring perches were rotted beyond my repair and time limit, so i called a friend and got a new frame for 50bucks, between me and 5 of my closest friends we started on a thursday tearing parts off my old frame and on monday had the truck fired up and moving on the new frame, she wasnt running good after sitting for a year so i did the normal tune up and she is good to go now, good enought to lay a 100 foot stretch with my 35's any way, the bed was shot in all the usual places and then some, so another friend of mine just had a bunch of beds shiped up from texas that are solid ass a rock like a chevy should be, so i bought a new bed to, now my old 78 is solid as a rock like she was when she rolled off the line back in 78, i will post picks of all the work next week when my sister finds the disk i forgot when i left, probly aint to many people interested in this but i like to share the work i have done to my baby, this time when i left she was put in a garage to keep the snow off her in the winter and my brother is gonna drive it to keep it in running condition, he is also working on it, such as finnaly rebuilding the motor trans and t-case which has needed to be done for a while,
