np208 cracking

Any one ever crack the input shaft housing on there 208. o well time to save for a 205. no more aluminum.

Nope, but somehow or other that cast iron peice between my 465 and 208 cracked... Don't even wheel the thing... [img]images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

You're talking about the adapter between the transmission and the transfer case, right? If so, then yes. In fact, every single kind has been broken by different people. It's usually a sign of bad engine and transmission mounts.

I got a spare 208 with a messed up mount and a peice in the center section cracked if ya want it...feel free to stop by...might be cracked where yours is though
