heavy chevy pedals!

is the stiff pedal an issue with all the fullsize chevys? is that how they're supposed to be? is there any key points that could be lubed maybe to make the pedal action a little easier?

What year are we talkin' about? I have a 92 3/4 ton, a 79 suburban with a 750cfm dual feed Holley and throttle is not excessively stiff on either of those... Might try shooting some graphite in the cable, or replacing cable, but first you might try checking how stiff a throttle return spring it's got... Might be stiffer than you need...
