Rear disc brake Q

Can I use the stock rotors and calipers from a 76 GM front D-44 on a 74 GM 12 bolt? I think I can but just checking. I know I will have to make a backing bracket to hold the rotor. I also will have to buy a new rotor for the D-44 . Thanks

Re: Rear disc brake Q

They would have to go on the backside of the axle flange so you'd have to take the axle out to put them on.

88-up IFS rotors are popular for this swap since they will go on over top. They are roughly the same diameter. You just need to enlarge the center hole.
