i need to know what are the biggest size tires i can put on my 77 chevy short wide with no lift and no fender triming. can i fit 33, 12.50 somebody told me i could???

31x10.5 will fit great, no rubbing, 32x11.50 may rub a bit depending on your springs(wore out or good), a 33x12.50 will fit if you dont mind trimming your fender along the bottom edges as so many on this board do.

Eh, mon, a search would produce wonderful results.

If you don't have a sloppy front end or droopy springs they'll fit. If you've got rotted or collapsed cab mounts and core support mounts it probably won't.

A search here and on will find you vast quantities of information on the subject.

on my 4x4 87 1\2 ton my front springs look like a frown, but i have 3 springs insted of 2, and my 33x12.50's fit fine, never had a rub, ever. i think it just has to do with back spaceing.

i have 32/11.50/15's on my 74 to 81 body and i have no rubbing at all but i bought after market wheels at the same time
