Re: Update Pic...but still not done

I thought you used to have silverado moulding on it? Isn't that scottsdale moulding you've got on it now (it's hard to tell)?

Is that new windshield locking strip I see? If so, how much did you pay for it? I need new stuff for the front and back windows. It was a femaledog to put my window back in with that old dried out stuff.

It's come a long way. Yous till need to paint the wheelwells and frame though. And put some air in those front tires, you've got mario andretti syndrome on the sidewalls. hehe.

Re: Update Pic...but still not done

That is Dupont Medium Blue, total paint, primer etc. costed me 290 something, dad painted it

here is the list in ther order i am going to do the stuff
Seat Cover(bought that today actually)i got a refurnished seat out of a 67 chevy and dont wanna trash it
Put in my 6x9s behind the seat, wire up the new speakers and put in a new tape player(need to buy still), also hook up CB with antennas at the same time
put my dash back on and paint my bezel flat black
put lock in drivers door
New Starter Outdrive
Get it aligned, brakes fixed(no rear brakes), get parking brake hooked up, get new front tires
Fab up a Tailgate so my gear doesnt fall out(inside joke)
then around mid winter new front and rear springs/shocks
put in new axle seals front and rear, and new steering stablizer

in that picture i had no thermostat in, so it was leaking antifreeze quite profusely, my gasket was bad, but i fixed that this afternoon.
oh and when i get around to it, figure out why my dome/cargo light doesnt work, and tear our headliner [bleep], and glue in somekind of blue carpet, also way down the road, im planing on throwing hte tranny and at that time, ill put in a new rear main seal

no thats silverado/seirra trim 34 feet for 70 bucks out of LMC i got 13 feet 8 inch left, my windsheild strip was just cracked to [bleep], i pulled of most of the chrome crap, and its just the inner part now, ya those tires are [bleep], they have 50 lbs in them in the pic, only supposed to have 40 in them, the driver side one has 2 slices in it, i think im gonna get some spray on stuff for my fenders and frame, the spray on liner or something, and the chrome statment only bit more of chrome on that truck will be my (2) 6 inch lights, and maybe a brushgaurd similar to MNorbys

Re: Update Pic...but still not done

I've been wondering why my tires always get that "ring"
look, i guess its the andretti syndrome. What causes the
ring though? Do the sidewalls actually roll over that
far when cornering, or what?

Drey, truck's looking great! Just replace those guys
in the bed with some chicks in bikini's, and your set!

Re: Update Pic...but still not done

mine are like that from backing out of my garage i have to turn as sharp as i can, and the sidewalls are so shot the fold under, a bit, also when they go flat thats the spot on teh ground, actaully tonight when i was in the garage the one front tire was flat... damn goodyears anyway im surprised RJ hasnt yelled at me for no "Dreybed" and copying his paint scheme

yeah that was our homecoming parade too, 2 girls from FFA were supposed to be in it, but they rode the volleyball float instead they were a couple of freshman cutties that think the senior with the big truck is cool, unfortunatly, one of them is a friend of mines little sister, and needless to say, calvin wouldnt be to happy about that...course he has no problem pickin up the bikini clad women in his covertable camaro... i wish i had a 8 dollar a hour job
